1. Agreement to these terms
By purchasing, installing, or using Super CodeReader Pro, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app; see section 4 for refunds. These terms cover the Pro edition only; the free Super CodeReader edition has its own terms.
You must be old enough to make a purchase in your country to buy Pro. If you are below that age, the purchase must be made and supervised by a parent or guardian.
2. Your licence to use Pro
Coolqoo grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Super CodeReader Pro on the devices linked to the Google account that purchased it, for your own use, subject to these terms and to the Google Play terms that apply to the purchase.
You may not sell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute the app, share your purchase outside the Google Play family and device-sharing features Google provides, reverse engineer the app except where the law expressly allows it, or use it to build a competing product.
3. Purchase and Google Play
Super CodeReader Pro is a paid app sold through Google Play. Google processes the payment, records the transaction, and controls availability by country, device compatibility, and account eligibility. The price you see is the price Google Play charges, including any tax Google applies, and Coolqoo does not receive or store your payment details.
Google Play's terms and policies govern the purchase itself. If they conflict with these terms on a point that concerns the store transaction, Google Play's terms apply to that point. Coolqoo does not operate a separate account, subscription, or licence server for Pro.
4. Refunds
Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy, not by Coolqoo, because Google processes the payment. Request a refund through Google Play. Where your local consumer law gives you a right to withdraw from a digital purchase, that right applies in addition to Google Play's policy.
If Google Play confirms a refund and you keep using Pro, your licence under these terms ends and you must uninstall the app.
5. No advertising in Pro
Super CodeReader Pro does not include Google AdMob or any other advertising SDK, and it does not show ads or request the advertising identifier. The purchase price is the entire cost of using Pro: there is no advertising, no subscription, and no in-app purchase required to unlock core features.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Super CodeReader Pro to:
- create codes that impersonate another person, brand, or service, or that direct people to unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious destinations;
- scan, decode, or distribute codes you have no right to read, including codes used to protect someone else's private information;
- interfere with the app, attempt to bypass its security or licensing controls, or use it in a way that damages Coolqoo or third-party services;
- make available content that infringes copyright, trade mark, privacy, or other rights.
7. Scanned and created content
You keep whatever rights you have in the codes you create and the content you scan. Coolqoo does not claim ownership of your scanned results, saved images, or exported files.
You are responsible for what you create and share. A QR code or barcode can contain a web address, contact details, Wi-Fi credentials, payment request, or other instructions, and anyone who scans it may act on that content. Review a code before you publish, print, or send it, and keep your own copy of anything you cannot regenerate.
8. Scan safety
Scanned codes can link to sites or apps that Coolqoo does not control. Check the destination before opening a link, making a payment, connecting to a network, or sharing information, and do not act on a code from a source you do not trust.
The app recognizes codes as accurately as it can, but a scan can fail, misread, or return unexpected content, particularly with damaged, stylized, or very dense codes. Confirm important results by another means.
9. Third-party services
Super CodeReader Pro relies on services operated by Google, including Google Play, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Crashlytics. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and Coolqoo does not control them.

10. Privacy
The Super CodeReader Pro Privacy Policy explains what information the app and its third-party services handle, and the choices available to you. It is a separate document from these terms.
11. Availability and updates
Coolqoo may release updates, change features, or stop distributing Super CodeReader Pro. If Coolqoo stops distributing the app, devices that already have it installed keep working under these terms unless the app depends on a service that is withdrawn.
Some features depend on your Android version, camera hardware, available storage, and network access, and may not work on every device.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
To the extent permitted by law, Super CodeReader Pro is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Coolqoo does not warrant that a scan will succeed, that decoded content will be accurate, or that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Nothing in these terms limits any statutory warranty or right that the law of your country of residence does not allow to be excluded, including any conformity guarantee that applies to a paid digital product.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Coolqoo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profit, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use Super CodeReader Pro, including losses caused by acting on scanned content or by a failed or misread scan.
To the extent permitted by law, Coolqoo's total liability arising out of or relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it through Google Play. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing here reduces mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
14. Termination
You may end this agreement at any time by uninstalling Super CodeReader Pro. Coolqoo may suspend or end your licence if you materially breach these terms or use the app in a way that harms Coolqoo, other users, or third parties. Ending the licence does not create a refund entitlement beyond the Google Play refund policy and your statutory rights.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including sections 7, 8, 12, and 13, continue to apply.
15. Changes to these terms
Coolqoo may update these terms to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version. If a change materially affects your rights, Coolqoo will present it in the app or on this page before it takes effect. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the updated terms.

Questions about these terms, or a dispute you want to raise before taking any other step, can be sent to [email protected]. Coolqoo will try to resolve the matter directly with you first. Purchase and refund requests must go through Google Play, because Google processes the payment.
